People can message you only after you accept their request. Block or report anyone from a chat, their profile or their series.

Keep filming. Uploads carry on in the background, and pick up again by themselves after your phone restarts.

Create your account
Pick a name and a username. No phone number or email address needed.

Open Studio, tap New series and give it a name. One series, one story.

Record with your camera or choose a video from your phone. Each one is up to a minute.

Flip the switch and anyone on Short Series can find and watch your series.

There are no ads and no tracking tools in Short Series. We don't collect your contacts, location, phone number, email address or advertising ID.

Good to know
Is Short Series on Google Play?
Yes. It is in early access right now, so it is open to testers first. Email us your Gmail address and we will add you to the tester list.
How long can an episode be?
Up to 1 minute. You can record it with your phone's camera or choose a video that is already on your phone.
Who can see my series?
Each series has its own Public / Private switch. Anyone with a Short Series account can find and watch a public series. A private series can be seen only by you and the app's admins. More in the privacy policy.
Can strangers message me?
Only after you accept their message request. You can block or report anyone from a conversation, their profile or their web series.
Does it show ads or track me?
No. There are no ads and no analytics or tracking tools in the app.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Short Series is for Android phones.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Account and tap Delete my account. You can also email us. See all the steps.
